UFI Filters was chosen by Scania for its “Green Truck” R410, the vehicle that received the prestigious “Green Truck 2021” award, the competition organized by the German magazines “Trucker” and “Verkehrs Rundschau”.

The transmission oil filter is a fundamental component for preserving the purity of the oil in the transmission circuit. UFI Filters has developed highly technological filtration solutions with its exclusive FormulaUFI.Micron, a special material engineered by the UFI Innovation Center composed of glass fibers, in order to maximize the life of the filter, its efficiency and reduce the pressure drop.

The prestigious “Green Truck 2021” award is a real efficiency race that was held on a 360km course north of Munich with 32-tonne vehicles and 430hp of maximum power.

The Scania R410, fitted with the UFI Filters transmission oil filter, achieved an impressive result, with an average consumption of 23.53 liters per 100 km, reaching the highest average speed of 80.60 km/h on a mixed circuit on highways and secondary roads.

For the sixth time in a row, Scania has won the “Green Truck 2022” award thanks to the significant efficiency and fuel economy demonstrated with the Super. The new 13-liter Scania Super 6-cylinder engine, introduced in November 2021 and available in four power levels compliant with Euro 6 regulations, this year competed in the test organized by the German magazines. We saw it at the Transpotec Logitec in Milan.

The UFI oil filter, thanks to the concentration and distribution of the synthetic fibers of the media, guarantees high filtration performance, with a high capacity to retain particles and impurities, ensuring an optimal oil flow and a low pressure drop, so much so as to ensure the best operation and performance of the transmission. The UFI filter also brings greater advantages over the traditional spin-on filter, making it more eco-friendly and avoiding the dispersion of oil residues during service operations.
