Genoa Boat Show stands up to Coronavirus, in the face of the massacre of trade fair events in the marine sector. After the capitulation of Monaco, first, followed by the Cannes Yachting Festival and Amsterdam’s Metstrade, the malicious people expected Genoa to be the last to capitulate. But no, the show will be held regularly from 1 to 6 October.

Genoa Boat Show: the organizers’ assurances

Despite the difficulties of the period, the demand for space is well above expectations, a sign that the Boat Show is always an important business tool for companies, which recognise the value of their participation»

Exhibitors

Among the exhibitors, the main Italian and foreign shipyards that took part in last year’s edition confirmed their participation, with some new features. The leading names in the world boating industry will be present: for motor boats, Amer Yachts, Arcadia, Azimut-Benetti, Gruppo Ferretti with FSD – Ferretti Security Division, FIPA Group (that includes also AB Yachts and Intermare shipyards), Pardo, Princess, Sanlorenzo, Sunseeker, VanDutch; for sailing, Beneteau, Dufour, Hanse, Jeanneau, Nautor’s Swan, Mylius Yachts, Solaris and Vismara. A new area will also be dedicated to Superboats. The entire outboard world will be on board.

Suzuki

Speaking of exhibitors, Suzuki’s 60th Boat Show is an unprecedented line-up. In fact, the Japanese company has decided to show all the must-haves of its entire production with an impressive line-up of 32 outboard boats from 2.5 to 350 HP, as well as 19 boats and inflatables, of which 6 tender and 3 Marshall on dry display and 10 boats in the water available for a test drive.
