The Versilia Yachting rendez-vous will be in Viareggio from 9 to 12 May 2019

The next Versilia Yachting rendez-vous will be in Viareggio from Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 May 2019 for its third edition. The event brings together the top-of-the-range boat at an international level. Organizers of the event are, in particular, Fiera Milano in collaboration with Nautica Italiana, the Distretto Tecnologico per la nautica e la portualità Toscana, with the contribution of Regione Toscana and Toscana Promozione.

An event that is a point of reference for shipyards and operators in the sector thanks to a rich representation of historical brands from the Italian shipbuilding industry that, in Tuscany and in Versilia, have a strong presence and tradition.

A business platform that registered 22 thousand visitors last year (59% from European countries and 41% from non-EU countries), of which 10 thousand were operators in the sector, and the presence of an international showcase guaranteed by a qualified selection of buyers. This thanks to ICE who decided to support the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous also for 2019.

Never change a winning format, but there are some news

The event confirms its format dedicated to maxi yachts and the supply chain (accessories, components, engines and services) together with the Tender & Toys section and the new Luxury Tenders & Ribs and Broker areas. These two new spaces, located respectively in the Europe dock and the Italy dock, will be identified with high visibility chromatic solutions. In addition, there will be a single entrance located north of the Italy dock that will allow visitors to go down a “one-way” path along the perimeter of the hall to observe the different boats.

There will also be a high presence of events made possible thanks to the collaboration of associations and municipalities of Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and Pietrasanta. A mix of boating, art, design, fashion and food. In fact, this year, the exclusive party reserved for exhibitors on the opening day of the event, the VYR happy hour along via Coppino scheduled for Friday 10 May and the day dedicated to the combination of Art and Boating scheduled for Saturday 11 May, will be back again.

There will also be space for conferences and b2b matching moments with the B&ST (Broker and Shipyard Trading). Organized by Navigo and dedicated to the business between brokerage companies and shipyards to create synergy and benefits between two major players in the yacht and superyacht industry.
