Since February 2021, Finmotor Oy has been the new distributor of Yanmar industrial engines in Finland. The Finnish company took over distributorship of Oy Brand AB for delivery, warranty, service and spare parts of new and existing Yanmar engines (here’s a post about the Japanese giant’s contribution to the battle against Covid-19).

Finmotor and Yanmar to cooperate

Established in 1988 and based in Vantaa, Finmotor is a leading company focused on internal combustion engine technology, lifting equipment technology and transmission. Although Finmotor is a new distributor for Yanmar engines, they are already familiar with the brand and its products through received training on the latest engine features and specifications in 2020.

«I am proud to be able to expand our existing portfolio with the high-quality, eco-friendly industrial engines of Yanmar. As global market leader, Yanmar has a long-standing reputation for reliability and continuity. I am looking forward to representing the brand on the Finnish market and building a strong and sustainable partnership», said Ismo Hiltunen, CEO/Owner of Finmotor.

A comment by Yanmar’s Area Manager

«We are pleased to have Finmotor on board as a trusted partner for our range of industrial engines in Finland. We are confident that, with their experience and skills, they will be able to further develop the local (OEM) market and offer high-level service to existing and new customers. It is encouraging to see that despite the global Covid-19 restrictions and the current economic conditions, we find alternative ways to conduct business successfully», added Bert Kranenborg, Sr. Area Manager Industrial Powertrain at Yanmar.
