Cojali, a company active in the development of multi-brand diagnostic tools, as well as other technological solutions and components for industrial vehicles, has signed a contract with Knorr-Bremse, a global leader in the market of braking systems and main supplier of other devices for commercial and railway vehicles , so that it becomes part of its shareholders.

Knorr-Bremse wants to invest in the growing connectivity market to further expand its experience in digitalization in the industrial transport sector. For this reason, Cojali is the most appropriate partner to achieve these goals as, at the moment, he has solutions, experience and knowledge of remote diagnosis and data science applied to the sector.

Knorr-Bremse and Cojali: the agreement

With Knorr-Bremse we have the ideal partner on our side, as well as the support of the entire network of the group to which it belongs. This cooperation will allow us to develop our products and services more and more and make them available to an increasing number of customers. Together, we will ensure that Cojali enters a new stage of growth, sharing our knowledge and working together with Knorr-Bremse”, adds Venancio Alberca, founder and CEO of Cojali.

Bernd Spies, Member of the Executive Board of Knorr-Bremse and head of the Commercial Vehicle Systems division, says: “With the participation of Cojali we have strengthened our position in the existing market by investing in a specific software solution for commercial vehicles that it will bring us new opportunities in the fields of Big Data and Big Data-based predictive maintenance. However, we also continue to maintain positive growth based on the macro-trends of digitization. I really want to start working with the Cojali team.

Thanks to Cojali’s experience in diagnosis, workshops and fleets will be able to assess the condition of their vehicle components quickly and accurately, for any brand, while receiving quality repair assistance. Among fleets of all sizes, there is a growing need to check the status of specific components and also of complete vehicle systems, not only when they are in the workshop, but also on the road, so that repairs can be anticipated as soon as possible.
