The models of Deutz engines available in the US market are about to increase, due to the decision made by the German company to sign a long-term agreement with Kukje Machinery, aimed at expanding its line of engines with power lower than 19 kW in the American market.

THE ‘HYBRID & ELECTRIC’ DETUZ PARTICIPATION IN CONEXPO 2020 

In particular, two new engines, the D1.2 and the D1.7, will be available for immediate delivery throughout with complete Deutz parts and service support already in place.

«The D1.2 and D1.7 are cost-effective and powerful engines that meet the latest emission regulations both in North America and in the EU. By enhancing this particular engine range, we’re bringing Deutz quality and performance to even more equipment manufacturers», said Frank Hiller, Chairman of the Board of Management at Deutz.

The engines are naturally aspirated, three-cylinder configurations offered in 1.2 liters and 1.7 liters displacements with output ratings of up to 19 kW. The D1.2 and D1.7 can also be utilized with the new E-Deutz products by providing customers with complete hybrid packages that are efficient and environmentally friendly.

Meeting the needs of several customers

«It’s all a part of our strategy to provide customers with engines that provide the right amount of power, but are still simple and economical to install and maintain», added Michael Wellenzohn, member of the Deutz Board of Management, responsible for Sales, Marketing and Service.

DEUTZ SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS FOR THE CHINESE MARKET

The two models will explicitly meet the needs of customers who want to power machines like aerial platforms, trenching equipment and mini skid-steer loaders, as well as equipment for lawn care and pump applications.
