HYA3-5 M5. Portable energy branded Himoinsa and Yanmar

Himoinsa has just launched its brand new HYA3-5 M5 generator. It is a portable (with wheels) single-phase air-cooled diesel generator. Despite the compact dimensions (length, height, and depth are respectively 1.028, 1.026 and 848 mm) it provides 4.4 kVA of PRP power. The low fuel consumption and long autonomy, says the house, make it one of the most competitive models on the market.

Yanmar heart for small applications

The heart beating under the livery of the new HYA3-5 M5 is provided by Yanmar. Specifically, it is the single cylinder L100N5 (A-C 86×75 mm). It has a displacement of 0.435 liters and a built-in electric start system. At maximum power output (4.4 kVA), the house guarantees a fuel consumption of 1.74 liters per hour. The generator includes a control panel with a set of two Schuko 16A 2P+T sockets for quick and easy connection. These features make it an ideal partner for small applications such as domestic ones. However, it is also a valuable support in addition to the fleets of rental companies whose customers often request smaller machines for applications in small shops and homes.

Himoinsa HYA 3-5 M5: tailored soundproofing, optimal design

The soundproofed, canopy and tubular version of the HYA 3-5 model features a 30 mm high-density rock wool-based coating. This helps to reduce the acoustic emissions 65 dB (A), making it the quietest model in the portable range. Moreover, the fuel tank has a capacity of 20 liters, with external filling and guarantees an operating time of approximately 14 hours of continuous operation.

The compact design, the small size and the upper lifting eyelet make these generation units easily transportable. In addition, an optional mobile kit is available. It can be incorporated for optimal transport on customers’ request. In addition, the design allows a wide bonnet opening angle that allows easy access for maintenance. This model connects the 30 generators between 3kVA and 10.6kVA that Himoinsa has on the market. The portable range includes models that operate at 50 Hz and 60 Hz to meet the needs of different markets.
