Sustainable Truck of the Year 2024: MAN, DAF and IVECO won the awards in the three categories
The awards went to MAN TGX 18.520 in the Tractor category; DAF XD Electric in the Distribution category and to IVECO eDaily in the Van category. The awarding ceremony also hosted an interview with Felipe Rodriguez, Director of the ICCT Heavy-duty Vehicle Program and Deputy Manager of ICCT Europe.

From 2025, up to 100,000 high-voltage batteries will be manufactured in Nuremberg in large-scale production, in particular for the new MAN eTruck suitable for long-distance transport, but also for powering city buses and, in future, coaches.

MAN Truck & Bus, green light to the site for the production of the diesel engine
With an investment of 170 million euros, the new 23,000 m2 building is one of the largest projects within the MAN site in Nuremberg. The new 13-litre diesel engine will be developed for all Traton Group brands.
