It’s not a mystery anymore. As for 2021, the jury of the Diesel of the year awarded John Deere and the latest 18.0L. We had a very interesting conversation with Michael Lefebvre, Manager, Global Marketing Support at John Deere Power Systems, about the award, of course, but also about the company’s philosophy, the new ways of designing the engines following the introduction of the latest emissions standards in the off-highway sector.

It’s not a coincidence that John Deere is more and more focused on customers’ needs when it comes to designing a new engine, also taking advantage of cutting-edge engineering solutions such as, for instance, advanced modeling as well as 3D printing.
